COVID-19 Protocols

We hope you and your families are feeling strong and smiling safe!  We have made updates to our office protocols to ensure the health and safety of our patients and team.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, additional guidelines have been designed to keep ourselves, our team, and our patients safe.  We implement some rules to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19.  Thanks to the levels of restriction on dental practice and guidelines that we have been following, we can make you smile again. At Uckuyular Dental Clinic, we care about your health above everything. 

1.INFECTION CONTROL PROTOCOLS

We will measure your temperature upon arrival. We are ensuring that each patient:

  • Wears a mask when entering the office
  • Uses hand-sanitizer upon entering the office
  • Cares about social distancing – we are arranging the arrival times limited it only 1 additional person. Hypochlorosis acid
  • Dentist and staffs wear personal highly protective equipment.
2.CLEANING & SANITIZING PROTOCOLS
  • We are super clean as we thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect all instruments, equipment, and surfaces in each operatory after every patient.
  • We are disinfecting the dental chair, suction cords, instrument control panels, dental light unit and benchtops between every appointment .
  • We make patients to use the restroom and wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds before entering treatment areas.
  • We have removed communal items from the waiting room including toys and magazines.
  • Surfaces and chairs in the reception area; telephones, pens at the reception desk; all door handles are regularly disinfecting.
  • Instruments sterilization is a standard procedure at all times, and nothing has been changed. Anything that goes near your mouth is heat and pressure cleaned between every use.
  • We have added air filtration aiding in the removal of bioaerosols throughout the entire office.
3.SCHEDULING & ARRIVALS & RESTRICTED ATTENDANCE
  • Covid-19 exposure screening on the phone prior to your visit.
  • Only patients with appointments (and one guardian for young patients or patients needing assistance) may come into the office.  
  • Reschedule if someone from your household has been sick within 14 days or traveled interstate to known hotspots in the past 14 days.
  • In an effort to save you time and multiple exposures, we are offering extended appointments.
  • This allows us to do more dentistry in a single visit. Since we provide Airport Welcoming and Transportation Services, the vehicle is sanitized between each use.
  • The driver is wearing a face protective mask during the journey.
